Hello everyone!
Can anyone out there advise me to who I should address a CV/resume to at Peace Air for a dispatching/reservations position? I called and got a name for all around human resources.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers

If you are looking for a position at Peace Air, the main person to speak (and write) to is Bill Vasquez. He is the Director of Operations. He may request you to travel to Peace River for an interview (if you are in Alberta, they may send you up there on one of their flights).
If this is expected to lead to a line pilot position, you're in luck. It will. General overwork and abuse as other 'ramp' positions that you will find everywhere else in the industry (it's just the way it is).
If you want to make a career as a res/dispatch, forget it. Unless you want to live in Peace River (nice quiet town).
Turn around time can be quick. Some people have hopped on line within nine months, but most have waited longer. But, they have all got on line. Few false promises. They like to hire from within and have a very good progression system in place (all the way up to large multi turbine, next stop Westjet!) Based on a date of hire seniority system, not on your job or locale.
However, don't count on being able to stay in the city you are in now. They can move you around a little bit, but hey that's the pilot's life, get used to it.
If you are in or near Calgary, I would suggest going directly to the main terminal counter (open when flights inbound or outbound) and speak to one of the agents. The may have a base manager now and that person may be able to hire you directly for a Calgary position. North of Red Deer, it's Bill.
Peace Air is a company full of great, dedicated pilots and support crew. Good luck with the search.
