Any current or past students from Perimeter??
I have been looking into different schools to do my Multi/IFR rating, and Perimeter seems like a decent choice. Have any of you been to the school/ going there right now? Is the cost they are advertising accurate?
What appeals to me most is the fact that the planes are equipped to fly in actual icing conditions!
Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

I went there to do my initial IFR. I was ready for the ride after 3 weeks, which I thought was great, but on the day of my ride there were thunderstorms everywhere. They then couldn't rebook my ride with Transport for an entire week and Zoochkan left for holidays.I felt like I was left high and dry...very fustrating.

Keep the dirty side down.

Well, I'm not sure you're gonna find any ice these days but when I was there it took me 25 days for multi/IFR.
Couldn't say anyting bad except 1 crazy instructor; who must be long gone by now. Zoochan is by far and away the best DFTE (sorry, PE) going.
Thumbs up to the place and I would trust any numbers they are throwing at you.

Thanks for the info. I have just received some more info from perimeter, a closer estimate of the cost for the Multi/IFR. Its gonna cost just under 10K, which includes 25hrs on the BE95, 22hrs on the sim, GPS ground school, briefings, books, Flight test and examiner fee.
The school I'm currently going to doesn;t have planes that can fly in icing conditions, therefore one of the main reason I'm considering Perimeter is just that. Here they don;t fly much in the winter time, and from what I heard out at Perimeter they can even in crappy weather.
Some more thoughts on this????
