Lynx Air has announced that they are seeking creditor protection, and will be ceasing all operations as of midnight, Monday February 26, 2024. Lynx blames "...compounding financial pressures associated with inflation, fuel costs, exchange rates, cost of capital, regulatory costs, competitive tension in the Canadian market..." for their downfall. Although, it is now widely known and reported that the company is heavily indebted and has multiple agreements with creditors at high interest rates.
