First Officer ATR42 - Ottawa
Would anyone have any info regarding the ATR42 FO pay out of YOW, typical schedule, overnights, bonds and such? Would be greatly appreciated!

Pay starts at $64K or so, company will pay up to $2000 a month in commuting to get you to Ottawa, where you fly up on company jet. Schedule is “basically” two weeks up, two weeks home, but it’s a bid so sometimes it’s a bit less, sometimes a day more. They can’t send you up for anything less than 6 days. No bond. No (planned) overnights. You’re always back in Iqaluit. Company pays for food and board in Iqaluit.
If you have an ATPL you’re probably a quick upgrade to the left seat.

Hi. Thanks for sharing this info. Just wondering if they also commute the pilots for the Yellowknife ATR positions? Also, where do they do the ATR sim training?FishermanIvan wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 8:42 am Pay starts at $64K or so, company will pay up to $2000 a month in commuting to get you to Ottawa, where you fly up on company jet. I applied to a recent job posting for the ATR in Ottawa
about 3 weeks ago. I have 1000 hrs total time with 750 of that on a 1900 (FO). Wondering if anyone knows if there are any upcoming ground schools planned / if my experience is enough to get an interview?
Thanks
