Post by RayJr »

Hi,

Has anyone upgraded their class 3 medical to class 1 lately?

Any idea what the wait time is?

Thanks

Not lately. I believe all medical get treated with the same TC priority. Very low.

Last year I was told ppl were waiting 6 months...

Maybe it's better now.

Not true. If they get a report that necessitates them revoking your medical you will get same day service.

Call Transport at this number. 1800 305-2059. Follow the prompts for Medical. Ask about the current status of your file. If it is “assessed as fit” call the same number and follow the prompts for Licensing. They will issue you a new sticker if able. I got mine within a week after calling. Cat 3 to Cat 1. After being left hanging in the lurch by all the doctors and CAME’s for nearly 4 months. Maybe I just got lucky… System is broken. Good luck.
