PASCO
If it was not bad enough that this company is posting daily job ads, they are now posting job ads for pilots after they told their YYC crews they will all be laid off.
PASCO is somewhere I highly recommend pilots avoid now. Shame on you for this process, especially with your confirmed commute policy. Brutal practice being instilled here.
To the pilots who are affected, come to Porter, you will be welcomed with open arms and won't regret your decision.

Re: PASCO
I think the Calgary pilots won’t have any problem getting another position in Calgary. In fact I bet PASCO is worried that everyone will be gone before their contract runs out.
The mystery to me is what Westjet is thinking. The point of PASCO taking over the flying was to do routes that were too thin for the Q. In any case they are having trouble crewing the present schedule so how is adding more routes going to help ?

I believe they are working with WJ to see if affected crews can be given priority when applying for jobs at WEN. While that is at least something (if it materializes), you're right, they will have no problem finding other opportunities in YYC.Big Pistons Forever wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 1:40 pm I think the Calgary pilots won’t have any problem getting another position in Calgary. In YXH (Medicine Hat) they are complaining that they will reduce the frequency from 3x daily to 1x daily.Big Pistons Forever wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 1:40 pm

I predict it will be 0 times daily about 3 months after Encore takes over the route with a Q...W5 wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 1:52 pmIn YXH (Medicine Hat) they are complaining that they will reduce the frequency from 3x daily to 1x daily.Big Pistons Forever wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 1:40 pm
