An amazing video highlighting the difficulties the manufacturers and Airlines are experiencing concerning AMEs and aerospace workers.
It's worth the watch. From my understanding, the creator is a pilot and creates much aviation related videos.
It all comes down to Money and working conditions... To solve this problem, Airlines and manufacturers are going to have to change their approach.

This industry is garbage! Like I was saying, once a person walks out and doesn't return immediately, he loses all his qualifications and have to start over again. Once they are gone, they are gone! Who will work in this kind of condition and pay? About Aircraft & Aircraft Parts Manufacturing here in Canada, do you know how rare those jobs are and how extremely demanding they are when it comes to required qualifications (atleast years of previous experience) and still offer slave wage? Aviation is a very small industry especially the manufacturing side! It's such a tiny niche!
