Flight Ops is doing a great job!
Just a shout out to Flight Ops for doing the lord's work
I'm not sure who is making the decisions but keep it up
- Canceling the B1s
- Dragging on negotiations and trying to blame ALPA
- issuance of FOM policies that completely ignore fatigue where pilots are penalized for being tired and pressured to fly or face financial duress and harassment from management
- a DH release policy that rivals North Korea
- Memos that fabricate the hardwork of company negotiators while praising the value in 2% raises
- Reduction bids that wouldn't fool even the biggest ACPA Kool-aid drinker
Your hardwork is unifying the group faster than any union could. Keep up the great work!

Murray is so out of touch. It would’ve been better not to say anything than to write the worthless crap.
Re: Flight Ops is doing a great job!
He's not out of touch, he's quite literally spitting on ALPA and the pilot group. Disgusting.

Burning down what’s left of any relationship when the rumour is he’s interviewing overseas.

Murray and his cronies have no idea what they are doing
How do you know?
They should have done everything in their power to keep their buddies at ACPA around and signed a deal asap
Now they are trying to low ball the largest pilot union with the most amount of resources while lobbing desperate memos that will only appeal to the most out of touch
Pretty hard for this not to culminate in a big show of force from ALPA. The company has a losing deck of cards and needs to come to the reality of this....

Murray’s halfway out the door, he’s going to be part of my mentor team.
Just kidding, he’s going to help start an airline in the M.E.

The guy's probably under some serious stress. During my PIT he said he couldn't sleep at night because he didn't know where he would get pilots. And this was like 6 years ago. I didn't really buy at the time, but maybe he was telling the truth and the company wouldn't let him increase wages. Or maybe he did nothing for 6 years and now it's judgement day.

The guy we knew who bought rounds for all the crews at the Danubius bar is no more. He shot himself in the foot with the Cargo MOA -10% trickery. Then he shot the other one with the infamously "overreaching" out of touch 1.85% MOA that immediately resulted in the demise of the most "concessionary -company centric- bargaining entity (ACPA)" to ever exist in Canadian aviation.Captain Kirkk wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2024 7:27 pm Murray’s halfway out the door, he’s going to be part of my mentor team.

An unimaginably massive and costly blunder.
The entire Flt Ops Negots team has now lost the trust of the majority of pilots in the process. Now, above all this, a direct appeal, "reach past" the Union during active negotiations that only appealed to the most naive and chickenshit "blue and black lanyard" members, while angering the 90% of us "red lanyard wearers" who believe in "honest" good faith bargaining.
They had better get it through their heads that we are not willing to stand in a Customs line with our collegues at United, Delta, American and Hawaiian as "poor -third world compensated- hicks" operating under a "butchered outdated mess" of work rules.
It's crystal clear that the whole Flt Ops Negots team has lost the "big picture" and either isn't capable or interested in engaging us in a meaningful and fair manner.
A good "housecleaning", top down, is certainly overdue.
My opinion only.
