Hello aviators
If you had to choose between employed as a full time Multi - IFR instructor or sit in the right seat as an FO on a light turbine to gain experience which would benefit more in securing a better future pilot position?

Multi pic time will quickly lead to medevac pic, which will then allow you to apply pretty much anywhere, and you'll have somewhat decent pay if the economy were to tank.

Take the metro FO job.
Light piston twin in an FTU environment won’t lead to left seat medevac jobs in the near future.
If the music slows any further, would you want to get stuck flying a seminole or building turbine time? If you already have decent hours, upgrade on the metro won’t take that long either.

Hi, There’s nothing guaranteed for the future. A King Air training Captain colleague of mine is looking to move into airline ops but is having no opportunities so far. Which is making me to have thoughts of leaving aviation.

Do you already have some PIC time? Are you upgradable on the metro shortly? If yes, take metro. If no, build the PIC time.

Nothing worse than not being upgradable for whatever reason and having to get PIC time elsewhere.
