Even if you want to vote no… vote yes. The yes will pass guarenteed. Make the yes as strong as we can, even if you don’t believe in it.

See you on the picket line

Simple. If you want improvements and care for yours and other pilots careers, vote yes.

Anyone thinking of voting "No" because they aren't prepared to go out needs to reevaluate. This vote is passing for certain; A simple majority carries it.

More turnout, and a stronger "Yes" actually means less of a chance that we will go on strike, or if we do go out, the shorter the duration will be

Solidarity in the membership is the currency at this stage of the process. If the company knows we will not waiver or be broken they will be forced to meet our demands. They will know that you support this MEC.

Remember that our demands are reasonable, no different than AC Pilots had 20 years ago, no different from other airline pilot contracts, no different than what other airlines pay as a percent of earnings for their crews.

Vote YES. Support yourself. Support your family's future. Support your colleagues. Support this profession.

This is it.

Where is the parody Mike these days? It seems like a great time for a pithy, and hilarious post.

You guys are a beauty to watch from the outside. Keep fighting and hopefully the % is above 90. Your group has never been that united, and we can see it from the outside !!

To our brothers and sisters at Air Canada:

You now have the clear opportunity to send a message to the profiteering corporate d!psh!ts in management who constantly laud themselves with unrealistic and despicable wage and bonus plans off of your backs.

Listen to your MEC representation and leaders.

An overwhelming strike vote will not only change your lives at Air Canada but will have a positive trickle down effect throughout the business as a whole.

100% agree with this!

Guys like us, that would love to be part of the AC team, but can't afford it... LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN... CAN NOT AFFORD IT, are watching closely. I'm eagerly awaiting instructions from my union on how we can play a part and we have your back 100%. Your well being is OUR well being, be it dirrectly or indirectly.

Air Canada pilots set the tone in this industry. The rest follow.

Absolutely, a little bit of pain for the greater good of working class people! I think it will be an 11th hour deal, since the gooberment(intentional) said they won’t intervene!

Air Canada flight crews; good news regarding government remaining on the sidelines for your negotiations.

CN and KNCP rail have locked out workers. Situation sounds like the same song we're seeing on the Air Canada fronts.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/artic ... ansas-city

MacKinnon has said it's up to the union and respective companies to sort out their own business, but urged them to come to an agreement.

Anyone fear mongering regarding government intervention may safely qwell their concerns.

This sure looks like colluded bargaining behaviour by the employer(s) to me.

Two companies with simultaneously expired CBA’s. Relative intransigence at the bargaining table with allegedly concessionary proposals. Planned lockout with public calls for government intervention.

Bad behaviour should never be rewarded. And much like ONEX/WJ management, they should read up on jurisprudence in regard to Federal labour jurisdiction employee right-to-strike.

Sept 17 is right around the corner.

Yes it looks like economic blackmail if the Corporations don't get their way.

Glad to hear! And if you’re in the 2% (I believe about 100 pilots) you should be ashamed of yourself! Grow a backbone or go find another industry to F up.

In the words of Sully… “can we get serious now?”

Time for a World Class Contract the pilots deserve that recognizes the professionalism and their contributions to Air Canada as a World Class Airline.
