Greetings all,
I have looked at the CBA for NAV Canada and wasn't quite able to figure out the answer to this question. I understand that the pension at NAV Canada operates under a formula of 1.1% x the average of your best five years of income x your years of service.
I had seen it mentioned that your spouse may be entitled to half of that as well. Just wondering if someone could speak to the accuracy of that, and also whether that would be in addition to the employee's pension or only after the employee had passed away.
Thank you for any insight you can provide.

She only gets the money if you die or she divorces you.
