Corporate opportunities
I’m interested in moving from commercial to corporate.
12,000ish hours TT, mostly ME Turboprop Captain with MTOW>60,000 lbs, ATPL, training captain, sim instructor, EFIS, FMS, aviation diploma, experienced in high density airspace and airports. Held roles in management back in my piston days.
Long past chasing metal and hours. QOL is important to me.
I’d really appreciate any thoughts on best direction to take to make this a reality. What size of companies/planes I should be researching, ballpark days off/salary that my experience could aim to achieve.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Corporate opportunities
Some big and small considerations
The big ones: From my exp corporate operators will tend to tell you that you work "x" days a month on average, usually this doesn't mean that 31-x days you can commit to dinner plans, go camping or have a beer. What is your requirement for hard days off and what is your tolerance for being on call? Standard call outs could be 2,12 or 24 hours ahead. Aircraft with 2 pilots vs 3 or 4 pilots will have vastly different QOL.
Some smaller ones: Are you comfortable flight planning including arranging customs? Are you open to picking up catering and stock for the plane when not flying? How do you feel about grooming? Arranging with FBO's for fuel etc.
If you answer those you can get a better sense on what type of corp op would fit your desired lifestyle.

Re: Corporate opportunities
Where would you like to be based? Great response from throwawaycorporate, solid insight. My warning is beware the management companies.
Re: Corporate opportunities
I’ve tried sending dm’s on avcanada but for some reason they get stuck in the outbox.
Fuel, grooming, flt planning isn’t an issue. Catering stuff would take a couple trips to get a hang on the owner’s needs, suppliers and how best to arrange it in time for flights.
Ideally based in southern Ont, but I could relocate anywhere for the right opportunity.
