Is ALPA a bust in Canada?
Another mediocre at best contract in Canada.
Better labor laws and ALPA has yet to strike nor get monumental gains...is this Canada Board just a total flop?
Jazz signed to a 17 years deal. Largest hammer a union has is a strike and these geniuses locked themselves up to then be scoped out by PAL Aerospace out east.
Is there even a point in using comparisons to the US anymore as when a TA comes out, those comparables go out the window to bragging about free gains & pay less than Flair?!
Can Canadian pilots get a larger dues reduction given the abysmal performance?!

I'd just say canadian pilots are a bust. Reason why the rest of the aviation world calls us frostbacks.

Let's not forget it's the pilots voting yes on these terrible contracts. Maybe ALPA knows them better than they know themselves.

Agreed, its a Canada problem, we are all the problem. People her would rather see others get less than fight for more themselves..GodlvlPilot wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 5:00 pm I'd just say canadian pilots are a bust. Reason why the rest of the aviation world calls us frostbacks.

MEC Chair...recommends this TAmervinmerv wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 7:32 pm Let's not forget it's the pilots voting yes on these terrible contracts. Maybe ALPA knows them better than they know themselves.![]()
MEC...selling it
Tim Perry ALPA President...Essentially endorsing it...
ALPA National...wants this done
I'd say pretty big sales pitch from ALPA

1. Chair = Canadian
2. Mec = Canadian
3. Tim Perry ALPA "Canada" President.
4. Alpa National realizes how embarrassing we are as a National whole. Most unified pilots group shows that they don't understand what unified means.
Idk seems that the common problem is us. Ruh roh.

100% agree. Doesn't mean you have to buy it though. Definitely can't complain about it if you do.dumpsterfire wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 7:37 pm
