Description:
The Aircraft Maintenance apprenticeship program is the only program provided by a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Organization.
It is an apprentice-model training program in Canada, and is open to all Canadian aircraft maintainers. It is a partnership between several organisations and the training is offered by an approved maintenance organizations (AMOs), on site in the official airport hangars.
There is a government program where students can work and study and it is set up by the municipality. This joint partnership program between: Apprenticeship Cedar Aviation Inc in Saint Jean Sur Richelieu Quebec. and Cedar Aviation Inc in Montreal, QC an aircraft maintenance provider (the employer) and the apprentice (the student).
As an employed apprentice of an approved aircraft maintenance organization, the student gains on the job training:
There are ground courses in Montreal and Workshop training in the Airport of Saint Jean Sur Richelieu.
This opportunity gives every apprentice to apply what he or she learns in the sessions of the ground courses and apply this knowledge in the workshop in the Hangars of Cedar Aviation.
This program offers a unique way for maintainers to obtain the training and experience required to qualify and apply for licences.

@-42 You see what I'm talking about? So we all agree that this is indeed a garbage career path? Currently I am working informalized in the automotive industry and I can tell you that it is a better industry than aviation. Ofcourse it is not a perfect industry but it is atleast bigger. What do we have in aviation? Lack of opportunity, lack of money, and lack of security. What the f*ck? Who wants to be an AME? Lol! Who even wants to be in aviation? Garbage! I defected a long time ago!
