**Location: Vernon Regional Airport – Aurora Aviation Academy Headquarters**

Aurora Aviation Academy is seeking a Class 1 Flight Instructor to take on a pivotal leadership role as Chief Flight Instructor at our Vernon base.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and support Class 1–4 instructors
• Lead daily operations and uphold training standards
• Deliver instruction (including Flight Instructor Rating programs)
• Ensure CARs compliance and collaborate with Transport Canada
• Drive innovation in curriculum and safety procedures

Qualifications:
• Valid Class 1 Flight Instructor Rating
• Multi-Engine Rating and Group 1 IFR (Preferred but not required)
• Satisfactory Flight Test Record
• Leadership experience in aviation training
• Strong communicator and mentor
• Comfortable with digital tools & aviation software
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
