Ground Operations Supervisor has a high level of responsibility to maintain company standard of our number one goal being, Safe Operation of all departments with in their team, which includes, Receivers, cargo handlers, ground crew, The supervisor must ensure there is the highest standard of team cooperation between all participants, which include Pilots, Maintenance, other departments within North Star Air, Clients, Vendors, SOCC & Ground crews, to ensure that each of these have a safe and enjoyable experience with North Star Air.

Key Responsibilities:
Have a full understanding of the G.O.M (Ground Operations Manual)
Oversee that the safe operation & Safety Standards of North Star Air are met or exceeded
Maintain full communication with all departments within North Star Air to ensure all operations are performed efficiently, effectively & safely
Use of company SMS system to report any deficiencies, incidents, accidents and make suggestions to enhance the safety of North Star Air
Oversee ground operations, such as but not limited to, Aircraft marshalling, ground support equipment operations, load control building & completing load control paperwork, Staging, Baggage handling, Loading/ offloading aircraft, inventory management, De-icing Aircraft, Ramp & Hangar cleanliness, grooming, general duties
Assignment of duties to day crew & evening crews include receiving, load building, load control plans, ramp, janitorial, equipment checks, admin, grooming, snow removal, FOD checks, general duties
Coaching, mentoring, training, ensuring all OJT (On Job Training) is completed & kept up to date (ensuring correct P.P.E is always adhered too.) Company issued uniform is being worn and well presented
Manage schedules with Dayforce
Ensure on time departure of aircraft
Liaise with customers to ensure superior level of customer service
Other duties as assigned
