Re: Destination Porter Question
If you get accepted to the program, when you have 500-750 hours apply for the actual FO YTZ position and you'll hear back for an interview soon assuming they liked you. Myself and a friend had >750 when we applied and both got an interview within a couple days so I'm not sure the response time is if you're on the lower end. The rest of the application process is the same as anyone else, though drawing for the hiring pool into classes is partially weighed on experience so destination porter candidates are probably towards the bottom of that. The 1000 hour minimum is not a hard rule as I know a couple people that got in with significantly less, though it's not the norm.
