As a Flight Coordinator you will be responsible for the overall coordination of flight operations. Your duties include flight scheduling and coordination, crew and aircraft coordination, communication and coordination with various stakeholders, resource management, operational support, compliance, and emergency response. You will be crucial in ensuring flight efficiency, safety, and smooth operation.

Job Requirements:
• Experience in flight following or Flight Coordinator would be an asset.
• Post-secondary education in Aviation Management or similar discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Thorough understanding of the Canadian Aviation Regulations, Federal Aviation Regulations, and Air Transportation Regulations.
• Solid interpersonal skills (written and oral).
• Technically proficient with PC and Apple products.
• Ability to retain an RAIC (security pass).
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, efficient time management.
• Customer service oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure.


Job Responsibilities:
• Schedule travel for clients on company aircraft or other alternatives such as sub-chartered aircraft and maintain the flight schedule and assist in determining routes and updating as necessary. Coordinate with various departments, including flight operations, ground operations, and maintenance, to ensure efficient use of resources and timely execution of flight preparation.
• Liaise with the training department to ensure that flight crew are assigned and scheduled appropriately. Coordinate crew rotations, rest periods, and any necessary changes due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Liaise with the maintenance department to ensure the aircraft is available and in proper condition for scheduled flights. Coordinate aircraft availability with the maintenance department to minimize any impact on flight operations. Interfacing with management, flight crews, maintenance and passengers to ensure aircraft are properly equipped and configured for each flight.
• Serves as a central point of contact for various stakeholders, including flight crews, ground staff, and other departments within the company. Communicate updates, changes, and instructions to ensure smooth coordination between all parties involved in flight operations.
• Manage and optimize the resources required for flight operations including but not limited to ground services, fueling, catering, hotel, transportation, slots, permits, and other logistics. Monitor and manage the availability and allocation of crew, aircraft, and other resources to meet operational requirements.
• Arranging customs and obtaining international permits and visas and coordinating with outside aircraft service handlers for international flights, if applicable.
• Provide operational support to flight crew and ground staff. Assist in resolving operational issues, such as delays, disruptions, or changes in flight plans. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure that necessary support services, equipment, or personnel are available when needed.
• Comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to flight operations, including passenger documentation, flight plans, clearances, crew records, and other relevant paperwork.
• Oversee the Flight Follower's Duties in their absence.
• Communicating policies and procedures, including security and dangerous goods policies as required to the client.
• Participating in the safety management system (SMS).
• Performing appropriate functions of the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
• Understand and fulfill responsibilities with respect to appropriate sections of the FRMS.
• Identify, report, and manage any actual or potential risks linked to fatigue.
• Using their scheduled time away from work to obtain an amount of sleep sufficient to minimize the risks of fatigue-related accidents and injuries.
• Informing the appropriate individual if they have not obtained sufficient rest.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.
• Maintaining training currency and proficiency as required by regulation and the company
