Has anyone applied with PAL recently ? I got the feeling that everything takes forever, recruitment wise, with them.

If you know someone it’s a short wait. That’s the case with any occupation.
I’ve heard they’ve hired with less than 500 total time but bypassed much higher time applicants.

I think most if not all positions at all bases are fully staffed? A few guys got hired for YHZ DEC a few months ago, and a few FO's have come but they are all from Air Borealis or the MFC program I think.

Nobody is leaving lately so not much hiring going on... latest seniority list only shows 9 guys hired this year.

What is the reasoning to put low timers without much east coast IFR experience instead of experienced 703 captains with more IFR experience than they have total time as FOs?
