Re: Flight Exec
Plan for 24 months of schedule punishment. You'll fly a lot, but eventually it will end. They do bond, and the bond greatly exceeds the residual pay, so you will be in significant debt if you chose to leave early. There are no clauses stipulated in being able to exit early short of dying, or some safety related event.
FlightExec in terms of an employer is considered among experienced corporate pilots as being bottom of the barrel. That hasn't changed for decades. Chartright, and Novajet fall into the same category as they rely heavily on pushing owners to accept charter to float their balance sheets. Owners tend to be new, or cheap, and these companies fight heavily to make it look like they are the better option. They also perform internal maintenance which is another point of contention for lots of flight crew. As soon as that last minute charter pops up, MX is tasked with buttoning up that jet faster than a Daytona pit stop - and time is prioritized over quality of repairs.
You have been warned. I think a G150 rating is probably going to lock you in at 100k USD for 2 years.
Let me know after you interview if anything I said was out of date.
