Class D as total time?

Class D as total time?
Curious, once we've done a bunch of type ratings and many initials and recurrents at a 705, we've accrued hundreds and hundreds of hours of class D Sim time. Everything counts towards currencies, t/o and landings, etc,- But do we consider that towards Total Time? Hearing people saying both.

Depends on who asks for it... There is no universal definition of 'total time'.
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

If you accrued hundreds and hundreds of hours in a sim. You probable don't need to worry about your TT.

FWIW, flight time does have a definition. I always assumed "total time" was synonyms with "total flight time".

Level D does not count towards Total Time
