Looking for advice (Canadian with foreign experience)

Post by Mystic546H »

Bit of an odd situation, but I grew up and went to university in the US and have been working as a flight instructor for about a year now and have a little over 850 hours of piston time. I am a Canadian citizen and hold both a Canadian CPL, group 1 IFR, SAMRA and SARON and the FAA equivalent of all that.

We've been getting less and less students and there isn't much hiring going on at the moment, not to mention I would like to move back for personal reasons as well someday. I'd imagine going to a regional is a little ambitious, but I was wondering if finding a 704/703 job would be a little more realistic and if you have any other advice for finding a first non-instructor job? Many thanks!
