Forest Patrol is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Saint John, N.B. (with seasonal field assignments)

Forest Patrol Services is looking for a talented Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to support field and hangar operations—maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance.

What You’ll Do
• System diagnostics & repairs – Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; perform precise adjustments and repairs following technical documentation and approved procedures.
• Regulatory compliance & documentation – Ensure all maintenance complies with Canadian Aviation Regulations, manufacturer standards, and company policies; accurately complete work orders, check sheets, and records.
• Workplace safety & organization – Maintain a clean, organized, hazard free work environment; report safety concerns and adhere to company safety protocols.
• Field assignments & flexibility – Support seasonal field operations away from Saint John, N.B.; work shift schedules and overtime as needed to sustain operational continuity.
• Team collaboration & other duties – Partner with supervisors and team members; perform related tasks as assigned to meet operational goals.

What We’re Looking For
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in aircraft maintenance.
• Certifications: Valid TCCA M1 and/or M2 AME license.
• Education: High School Diploma (minimum); post secondary education in Aircraft Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Knowledge & skills:
o Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
o Technical proficiency in aircraft systems and regulatory standards.
o Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs.
o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
o Valid Canadian Driver’s License and Passport; eligibility for airport RAIC pass.

Working Conditions
• Environment: Primarily hangar and field operations with exposure to aircraft equipment and maintenance tools.
• Travel: Seasonal travel for field assignments; potential international travel for training and conferences.
