SkyNorth Air Ltd. is seeking qualified applicants for the role of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME - M1 or M2).
This position reports through the Crew Chief to the Director of Maintenance (DOM).
Location: Winnipeg, MB, CANADA (Full-Time, Permanent)
Schedule: Varies by position held but generally Mon-Fri (8 hrs) or 4-ON, 4-OFF (10 hrs) day shift, with overtime opportunities available during evenings and statutory holidays, on a voluntary basis.
Remuneration: As per company pay scale, starting at $60 CAD/hour with additional stipends for role specific functions. Vacation is offered starting at 6% (i.e. 3-weeks) for licensed positions. An RRSP/DPSP matching program is available with 100% match starting at 4.5% of basic earnings. Hourly rate, vacation and RRSP match increase with Years-of-Service (YOS) – further details available upon interview.
SkyNorth Air Ltd. is a 24-7, 365 day per year fixed wing air ambulance operator serving the Province of Manitoba for the past 21-years. Our fleet consists of role specific configured King Air B200 and soon to be retired MU2-B aircraft. We operate from a new dedicated facility located at the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson Intl. Airport (CYWG) with flight crew/aeromedical sub-bases in Thompson, MB and Island Lake, MB.

Successful applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications for consideration of employment in the role:
• Candidate must have a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license (M1 or M2);
• Must be legally entitled to live and work permanently in Canada;
• Must be willing to work as a full-time employee; and
• Must be able to travel and obtain a Transport Canada Restricted Area Access Card (RAIC).
Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in the performance of maintenance activities of the type undertaken by the organization. See further attached Job Description (JD).
