About 70k of that came from overtime. Only about 600 hours in the actual seat though. Lots of sitting around and short legs for min credit.

3rd year Relief pilot on a WB

$75k in earnings (includes OT+Vac pay) + $10k towards pension. I had a couple months of block reduction but still, you can't support a family on that salary in YVR or YYZ unless your spouse is working.

Lots of T4s in the $500s here at WJ. And a few I’ve seen over 600. Yes lots of OT.
That year 3 widebody pay for AC is completely f’d up

he had block reduction. AC MMG for A330 relief is 90k. With minimal OT it would hit 6 digits. Not bad compared to regional FOs that make 50-70 and have more liability.

Having said that, the entire industry in Canada pays like shit. I think only in Africa or south america you make less

For context how many days did you spend away from home in a crashpad or at work in the same year you were a year 4 captain?

210k. Jazz top pay scale, training dept. 1 or 2 days overtime for the whole year. 20k less than the previous year since I gave up the overtime but much happier!

There is nothing unusual. He flew 300 hours but the MMG is certainly more than that. If the MMG is 1000 hrs that's 280$ per hour of credit. It could be a AC guy on a 737.
