Apologies if this has been discussed in previous threads, but I was wondering if anyone on the inside has any information regarding the new terminal and how or when it will be easier to be based in Montreal for the Q400 or E2.
I’ve read that E2 external hiring won’t happen for a while and that only internal pilots will be transferred at first. Does anyone know when they might open the door for Montreal-based hires?

No base has been announced in YHU. There is an E2 base in YUL, but like you said there's no hiring any time soon. YHU will cater to both Q400 and E2 flights according to the schedule that was released. No one has a crystal ball unfortunately, but it's pretty clear that things have slowed down quite a bit.
