Recent sim evaluation
Have a sim evaluation coming up. Has the sim evaluation changed from the previous ones? Also any idea of the current failure rate on the sim evaluation ?

Re: Recent sim evaluation
It hasn't really changed. Just read the other threads that describe it.

Re: Recent sim evaluation
I've seen a few questions lately about the Jazz sim evaluation, so I thought I'd share what I know. The good news is that the sim eval hasn't really changed over the years and there shouldn't be any major surprises if you've prepared appropriately.
They'll let you fly from whichever seat you're most comfortable in. If your partner prefers the same seat, you'll simply swap for the PM duties.
The profile is fairly straightforward: a normal takeoff, a hold, an approach with a missed approach, and an emergency scenario that leads to an engine shutdown and single-engine landing. More than anything, they'll be looking to see that you're receptive to instruction, can work effectively as part of a crew, and demonstrate good CRM.
Good luck!

Re: Recent sim evaluation
For the hold. is it raw data hold, VOR or GPS using the FMS ?
Re: Recent sim evaluation
Hold over a VOR if I recall and you have to determine hold entry , ILS approach as well is raw data , no use of FMS
