Congrats!! Keep knocking off the milestones, don't think too much about the destination, and enjoy the ride. What were you flying? What did you notice?

I remember my first solo, definately something different. Feel good to not have an instructor nagging all the time

Thanks. I fly a cessna 172 P model. the reg C-GHSJ. I was not nervous like i thought i would be, in fact i was eager for the instructor to get off the plane.

congratulations and isnt it awesome when theres no one beside you watching your every move! Id be happy flying solo the rest of my life.

yes it is. and most importantly it was the best landing ive done so far, probably because there wasnt anyone beside me telling me 100x to line up with the centre line while on final approach.. lol

as i said, that's the best tribute, not having a nagging instructor, but it's all those nags that enforces your ability to do it properly on your own

Congrats! Having been on both sides of the fence, I can tell you that the first solo as the pilot is just as nerve wracking as your first solo sent as an instructor!
