What is the difference between a standardized 12 lead ECG computer or cardiologist interpreted and an ECG done at the local lab?
Thanks a lot

A modern computerized ECG usually has a computer program in it that may try to interprete the result based on a set of criteria (prolonged QT interval, low voltage, etc.) However, from what I understand, the computer interpretation is close to useless. A lab will just do your ECG and then it will be sent to whatever doctor (TC, mainline, etc.) to interprete.
When you get an ECG for your TC medical, the doctor looks at it, then OK's you, then sends it to TC. The TC doc then looks at it and can veto anything your local doctor thinks is alright.
