Hello aviators

Is Porter still on a steady hiring stream for the Dash 8 these days? And have they hired pilots with 900 hours instead of the 1000 that they ask for. I know apply and see what happens for sure but was wondering if anyone on this forum knows of someone that was hired less than 1000 hours.
