Plane lands on highway in Banff

Sounds like they landed around 3pm, and then took off just before 5pm. What mechanical issue could have caused the urgent need to land, but was easy enough to fix that allowed them to takeoff again not even 2 hours later?

Also, pretty sure the TSB or TC doesn't respond quick enough (Under 2 hours) to even be involved in this situation as stated by the news. I bet they were not even aware lol

Repairs that a pilot could -assumingly- make themselves legally. There's not much you can touch.

Loose oil cap? Loose oil filter? Loose fuel cap? Cowl plug that was left in and overheating the engine?

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Edit (apparently was not carbice like I was guessing)
Fuel pump issue according to CBC interview of the mechanic pilot. Had tools along … knew how to adjust to continue on to Springbank. There were a few other landings on Canadian highways lately.
