Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice position. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Maintenance Technology from the Philippines, and I am currently working as an Assistant Aircraft Mechanic in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

I began my aircraft maintenance career in the Philippines, where I gained hands-on experience and developed my understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures, safety practices, technical documentation, and working as part of a maintenance team. I am now continuing to build my experience in Abu Dhabi, where I have been exposed to a professional aviation maintenance environment and have gained further practical experience working with aircraft and maintenance teams.

I hold a Philippine CAAP Airframe and Powerplant license, and I am very interested in continuing my professional development in Canada. One of my long-term goals is to obtain a Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licence and establish my career in the Canadian aviation industry. I understand that this will require commitment, training, practical experience, and continuous learning, which is why I am particularly interested in an apprenticeship opportunity where I can learn from experienced professionals and develop the skills required to progress in this career.

Although I am originally from the Philippines and currently working in Abu Dhabi, I am genuinely interested in this opportunity and willing to relocate for the position. I understand that as an apprentice, I still have a lot to learn, and I am prepared to start from the fundamentals, follow instructions and company procedures, and put in the time and effort necessary to become a competent and dependable aircraft maintenance professional.

I would be grateful for the opportunity to bring the experience I have gained in the Philippines and Abu Dhabi while continuing to learn and grow with your organization. I am hardworking, willing to learn, and serious about building a long-term career in aircraft maintenance in Canada.
