Here's the situation
Ok, let's say I own a nice big piece of property, I decide to chop down some trees, level it off and use it as a landing strip for my 172. Do i have to get it inspected by tc, or certified or something or can I just go ahead and start using it once it's ready?
Before investing the $$ maybe research it a little. I did this very thing but have no neigbors. The adjacent acreage is federal and state property.
I never asked, got no permits, and have chosen to keep it off the charts. I am also chosing to not list it as a PVT strip. Just a hay field with a hanger.
Good Luck!!
