that's unusual. an accident at zbb that doesn't involve regency express. guess there's a first for everything.

I read in the Province newspaper today that a 1948 Beechcraft Staggwing landed gear up at ZBB after declaring an emergency I think, luckily no injuries, not so lucky for the aircraft which from what I read, it was recently restored.

Please say it isn't so.

That is the most beautiful Staggerwing I have ever seen and it came to visit me here in Chilliwack a few weeks back.

Hey Duke,

I noticed your pic of IKT...does it still belong to Bill, and if so what's he up to? If not, who has it and what are they doing with it? I'm just curious.

Cheers

Duke sorry my friend it is true I was talking to my dad. The good news is that it will only a few weeks till it is in the air. The gear doors and the beacon were rubed off the prop hit the ground and the flaps were damaged but the engine will be toren apart and that will be the biggest job. Looks like a CB poped and the gear did not come down. the owner was flying it and feels realy bad.
hope that all is well
