For ON and MB, the standard seems to be 500 tt for FO, and 500 MPIC for captain.

...if you get on as F/O under 500 multi PIC is there any chance to upgrade to captain? or is it right seat forever? it's an insurance requirement i assume?

Shower...
It's an MOH requirement (or ORNGE now). You may be able to log some left seat time if you're PPC'd for it by flying the empty legs. However, depending on the amount of multi pic time you already have, it may obviously take quite a while. There are plenty of other Navajo jobs out there that you would get an upgrade pretty quickly these days with - look to the west! Best of luck.

It's not an insurance requirement - it is a requirement of the Ministry of Health, and thus only applies to medevac flights associated with the government of Ontario (ie. Angels of Flight stuff isn't restricted because they're private).
You could be captain on flights that are not medevac until you reach the 500 mark - assuming the company does charters as well.
The times
bottom_feeder gave are correct, however I believe 100 hours on type is also a requirement for captains.

Bravo uses a couple of rare Commander 700's, similar to the Navajo.
There's also a 414 out Kingston doing Medivacs.
