Installing new gel ear seals in my DC headset? I need help

Post by 1coolav8r »

OK so here's the deal...I just bought new undercut gel ear seals for my DC headset. I went to install them and all of a sudden what I thought was going to be simple turned into a huge pain in the ass. I can't get the friggin things on!!

Does anyone have an easy way of doing this or do you just need to fight with them for awhile and have patience?

grrrr

well I answered my own question since I posted that. After a bit of struggling I found an easy way to do it and popped the other one on in about 10 seconds after that

I had this exact problem on Monday.

Just needed to lube them up with a little soapy water

I find that most pilots do simple tasks better when in the airplane...

If you pull on the yoke, you go up, if you push on the yoke you go down

Although We have all been stumped by something really basic and stupid at one point in our lives, you will probably take quite a hit for this, but it's all in good humour

Unless you keep pulling back, in which case the houses get bigger again.

big planes are even easier-

turn the knob one way to go up, the other way to go down and turn that other knob either way to go left or right.

Sounds like so much fun doesn't it?

Even then some people still manage to mess that one up.

Guess thats what CFIT is. ''pilot turned the up-down knob the wrong way''

If you keep pulling up though, you will go down. Now this is way too confusing!
