Sun Air Incorporated (1990)

Can anybody remember the above company back in 1990? They had the air traffic reporting contract with CHUM and trying to find out who the owner was?

If anybody from that era remembers anything about this company and doesn't mind sharing please do.

I belive the company was based out of the Island airport and they used a PN-68C with a REG C-GISY.

Correct. That was ATR's (later ATI's) twin that was used for the contract. ATI went under in '03.

So who owned the P68? Sun Air or ATR in 1990. I believe Sun Air did and ran the contract for ATR because ATR did not have the OC, correct me if I am wrong.

Does anybody know who owned Sun Air? That CHUM contract was worth alot of money I hear and I would like to contact the former owner.

anybody have any more memories of these two outfits please add.
