I don't mind and frankly, I don't think others should either, what someone choses as an avatar, less the usual hate mongeringing, KKK, black panther, IRA type of avatars, otherwise people should be allowed to express themselves anyway they see fit...

We should just get rid of avatars, since some people like using those jumbo avatars, which stretch the page...

OR....

Just allow avatars in the Politics/misc forum, where people shouldn't get offended, because you have a disclaimer there....

We should not get rid of avatars, but some discretion is in order. I think it's getting out of hand with the complaints, though. Grown up, it's the internet and nothing I've seen here in avatars is really very surprising or offensive.
