Thats the bird that had the fire up in Norman Smells NWT. Just about burnt the wing off in flight. Last rumor I heard out of the crew at Buffalo is that the cockpit section of this plane would be removed to be attached to PSH so they could salvage it. PSH has a ton of history behind it including being a part of the berlin airlift. I would imagine we'll see PSH airborne again this spring and XKN out in the boneyard for parts.

That would be XKN, she is gone. And that is Goose Lake, NU a mining camp south of Bathurst Inlet. Some fun flying indeed.
