Why do I have PM's in my Outbox?

Why do I have PM's in my Outbox?

Can anyone tell me why I have PM's in my Outbox? I tried to send PM's a few days ago but they don't show as Sent. They are still in my Outbox. How do they get sent? I am so confused!

They stay there until they are read by whoever you sent it to.
