Looking to twist wrenches in the peace
I'm looking for a summer AME job in or some where close to the BC peace country. I have experiance on various aircraft: DHC6, KA100, KA200, !900c, 1900D, PA31, Cessna 208, 206, 400's SA227, Do228,
Any possible leads would be great
Thanks

Just because there is a town called Peace River in Alberta doesn't mean the river doesn't flow through more than one province....the northeast of BC is called the peace country by B.C. folks since the Peace River flows through it. It encompasses, F.St. John, Dawson Creek, Tumbler Ridge, Chetwynd, Pouce Coupe, and Hudson's Hope. Remember, the Peace River actually starts in B.C.Youngback wrote:Its Alberta peace country not BC
Anyways, tiny, to respond to your post, Ft. St John is the most likely spot to find work. there isn't much going on in the other places, unless you want to work rotary wing. Fort Nelson (maybe a little too far north?) or Mackenzie might also have some possibilities. Also, Grand Prairie AB is about 1.5 hours drive to the hills around chetwynd & Tumbler Ridge.
Good luck! the Peace country is beautiful in the summer...expecially late when the leaves start to turn colour in the fall!
