aircraft painting

Post by corporate joe »

I have a friend in eastern Maine with a King air 200 who is looking for a company do redo the paint job on his aircraft. He'd like it to be somewhere close by (Maine, Vermont, Quebec, NB, NS NL). I am doing some research for him, and I can't seem to find anything closer than Ontario within Canada (he'd prefer to have it done in Canada).
Does anybody have any recommendations?

I would agree that it's worht the trip to Peterborough to get Flying Colours to do it. I just had a King Air done there and it was a phenomenal job. Came in ahead of schedule and cost exactly what they quoted.

Well, I was looking for something closer than Ontario as mentioned, but I guess there's a reason why I did not find anything. Also, just curious, how long did it take you to get the king air done?

Corporate Joe,

They did a lot of other work as well so it was in the paint shop for 5 1/2 weeks. The actual painting itself took about 2 1/2 or three weeks.
