How much do YOU share the responsibilities in the cockpit when your PIC on a light single with another pilot sitting right seat as a passenger?
Ever have a passenger think that he or she is the pilot?

What we would do is one would fly while the other navigates, handles the radios (depending on a/c), checks over calculations and fills out the flight logs, offering their input (not always desired but always appreciated), points out hazards and ensures nothing is missed.
Wouldn't recommend completing the checklist as two crew, just seemed to take longer and be overly redundant on such a "simple plane".

I was doing a scenic flight and the guy in the co jo seat was watching everything I was doing but I could tell he knew more than just a tourist normally would. He only spoke German but he said in broken english he was a pilot so I motioned for him to take the controls and for the next hour he flew the plane perfectly id ust point out and told him where the flugstad was on the way back. I landed but back on the ground his friend translated that he started out in the Hitler youth flying gliders and then went on post WW2 to fly in the W German Airforce. He hadnt flown in quite some time but was very grateful. He had never flown the type or any cessna for that matter but just like riding a bike i supose.
