You’re missing a few criteria’s and considerations for this useless poll to hold any legitimacy.

For example;

1. You’re missing a lot of towns/cities in your poll IMHO.
2. Jag off’s you worked with.
3. Population of Black flies vs. people per capita.
4. Number of times you were subjected to fly unairworthy machines.
5. Number of flights with the local goons over the small supply of woman available.
6. What town did you first notice you were losing you hair line?

Stuff like that may help with replies.

As you were.

Yellowknife? Thompson? You've got to be kidding me! If you think that you are getting a rough deal by having to move from Mum and Dad's to one of those places, give your head a shake....How about Pickle, or Armstrong, Ignace, Buffalo Narrows, Gillam etc...

Yellowknife, indeed!

My philo: If it got a Wal-Mart, a movie theater, some nice restaurants along with a asphalt/chipseal road to connect you to the province's capital/major city; it is a non-ghetto town.

Thanks Mr. Sanjet.

This means that YTL (Big Trout Lake) should be on this list. I would have had it at the top of my list "anyways".

It was always a big deal to get out of there for a bit of r'n'r in a place with paved streets, bars, women, and hockey.

330 Sparks Street.
Infested by rats.
A rat only does what nature compells them to do.

The creatures who dwell in 330 Sparks Street are animals of another description altogether.

About the best that I can think of to describe them is sociopaths that have wormed their way into positions of power, therefore the lowest form of life in society.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

This is so typical of AvCanada. Here we are shitting all over people's home towns in an attempt to feel better about our own current surroundings.

How about some positive posts about what's good about these places?

have you been to YTH lately? It's going downhill faster than you can buy a bottle of salon selectives at walmart.

having said that, YTH is a vacation compared to the real shitholes out there, and none of them are on that short-sighted list.

YTH aint bad at all. It's grown a lot over the last 2 years. Tim Horton's, Boston Pizza, Robin's Donuts at the airport, Business Depot, The Brick, etc etc. If I didn't live in the shittiest part of the city, it might be more bearable.

Pickle, and Buffalo narrows are checked off in my book.

I'd have to say that La Loche blows the doors of anything else listed here. Stoney rapids looks like disney world compared to La Loche.
