A quick check of flightaware shows numerous flights (including a trainer) in and out of Thunder Bay, sioux lookout etc. Hardly the actions of a company that shut down operations.

They've been bought out by Wasaya. Or, is it the other way around? Nah, they're still flying!

They melted 7 PC-12's together and created one super plane that can deliver more chips and pop than ever to any northern community! It was a joint venture between NAC and Old Dutch. Now get a life...

I'm afraid your guess was wrong there. Sour Cream and Onion!
Tail is painted in Pepsi colours.

So is this rumour a load of crap? I've heard nothing but good things about the company and it would be a shame if one of the good ones went bankrupt. Hopefully someone is just trying to stir shit up.

NacAir is a good company to work for. Things are a little tight now due to crew shortages, but will rebound soon. Ten days a month is great for a sched operation. Hope it gets back to that soon guys........I think I have more than ten posts by now.

Good Company / in the february -march period of this year
they were fisically straped and fuel was on a credit card only basis
for the following reasons
They are a native band owned company and largely dependent on gov't
contracts both federal and provincial
Which gov't does by purchase orders or standing offer agreements.
ERGO it can take as much as 120 days to get paid. upon completion of travel
once the fiscal year finished up and the budgets were announced
things returned to normal .
suppliers like to be paid alot sooner than that (90-120 days)
hence the stress.
there are several non native and native owned airline companies that are well run and face the same situation every late winter very early spring.
there ya have it the facts- what a concept on this forum

sweet, does it require a crew of 7 or 14?great potential for lowtime guys-being the 14th officer might get you a bit down, but you could still tell the ladies at the 5th you're a pile-it
