After hand washing, do you rinse dishes, or do you leave soap suds on them?

Yes I do, suds have no place in my beer mug

The great dish debate...

Post by comanchepilot »

Some of my roommates and I have a difference of opinion on what protocol is after hand washing dishes... to rinse or not to rinse?

There are four of us... three pilots and an AME... two of us think they should be rinsed, and the other two don't. What are you used to doing?

Bater's crusty old warrant officer is right. Soap left on dishes very certainly can give folks the runs.

Please don't tell my mother that I work in the Oilpatch...she still thinks that I'm the piano player at a whorehouse.

Depends on wether or not you feel you need a laxative that particular day... :D

I'm all for the rinsing... I don't like soapy dishes.

Only guys would spend more time debating the merits of rinse vs no rinse than actually just doing it... lazy sods (or suds)?

If I mentioned this to the wife, she'd smack you with a wet dishrag.

Having a standard that pilots lose their licence after making a mistake despite doing no harm to aircraft or passengers means soon you needn't worry about a pilot surplus or pilots offering to fly for free. Where do you get your experience from?

You know why they put a woman on the space shuttle?
She weighed 100lbs less than an automatic dishwasher...

You know why women have such small feet?
Its a Darwin evolution thing. Allows them to stand closer to the sink.

I'd just like to go on the record as saying that I love to do the dishes and take care of my women.

Well then Haz you're a rare find. :)

Bob... Someone has to keep things from getting too testosterone laden, or do you like being with nothing but men?

I was going to post complaining what a bunch of Mary's we are talking about washing dishes; but I am glad to see it degraded as it should. Bravo, but seriously, the hairy asses have to go.
