Just got laid off and looking for potential job prospects for next season, preferably somewhere in Ontario. 206/185 driver with a little over 500 TT and 130 on floats. Any tips on some good float outfits to work for would be helpful.

If you've got the time and a set of wheels I'd stop in at some places this year while people are still around. And you never know you may find something for the rest of this season.

Its not in Ontario however, a great operation where you can get tons of hours, good money and a great boss.....Simpson Air in NWT! Excellent conditions and great places to fly to!!

Kenora Pilot,
You went from asking of "any thoughts" on Simpson Air to a full fledged endorsement. What's the deal? Are you the one and only... Ted Grant?
Just curious.
By the way, as in never being employed by Simpson Air I can't say what the pay is like but the region offers some great scenery and I would guess if you were there, there would be lots of flying, but I'm thinking maybe more on wheels than floats???
Fort Simpson isn't all that bad a place to hang your hat for a while.

Lots of flying down there? Looking for a 250-300+ season next year. Anything to say about Chimo, Green Airways, Kenora Air Service, etc. Beavers and Otters?
Oh and Cryinghead you've got a lot of growing up to do, you hack. Go bake a cake.

You are lucky I don't own this forum cryinhead, because you would be banned permanently.

Why Cat? I'd sorta like to know where his anger comes from... perhaps avcanada and it's members can help this distressed soul?

Twotterflyer, anger is one thing but one should have some limits on the mentality of posters on a forum for pilots.....I have no problem with what anyone says on a personal level but somehow I expect a higer IQ from posters on an aviation forum discussing flying.
Maybe cryinghead never had a mother so he can't relate to the subject?
