When was the last time you got stuck next to a smelly passenger? Well, those days are over! Clients are now requesting showers as an option! I have to admit that it took me a while to digest the Bar idea...But showers?
Forget the fact that they'd be as clean as highway truck stop showers (do we have those in Canada?

) not to mention the naked people going in and out, the steam (one guy farts and the whole airplane smells!), water spills, leaks into the wiring or the lower deck, moldy carpets, etc...
Let us just get to the real concern, who the hell would want to shower? I have a problem undoing my seatbelt fearing an air pocket so what would happen to a naked man in a slippery wet box getting knocked around...?
Would you shower?

Hmmmmm.
I assume you are talking about showers on the A-380? No, I would not shower on a PAX airplane just because I would assume that it would cost about $20 to do so and I tend to be a tight wad. I do shower on my long trips at airports-- even 5 Euros is worth every cent to feel human again and help the circadian clock.
It is amazing to me how many people don't like to shower . . . period. Particularly Europeans. In places like Latin America, most people regard Europeans as being dirty, grungy slobs. On the other hand, in the middle east, muslims tend to wash their feet, hands, face and private parts multiple times a day.

It is on the A380...Even if it was free, I would be very reluctant to take one...
As for the Europeans, I think it's D-O they need...! I can't handle meetings in a small stuffy room...

I remember from my history classes that medieval Europeans did not bathe on a regular basis-- perhaps once a month or even less because of the fear of disease. Because of this malodour, perfume was developed and became popular to make one smell sweeter.
I've heard that many Frenchmen are particularly fond of "natural smelling" and "natural looking" women. The French are also lovers of cheese-- perhaps this gives them erotic thoughts?
Anyhow, I got to go shower.

P.J. I can assure you that every faith, Muslims included, can stink to high-heaven, regardless how many times they scrub their naughty-bits.
I have had various crew, ground-staff, engineers, etc etc, of all faiths that have NO clue they are melting the plastic fittings on-board when they come into the cockpit from their odoriferous stench, causing us drivers to lean into the airstream of the vents in a vain attempt to find some fresher air to breathe!!
If you MUST work in confined quarters with others, grab a brain and HAVE A SHOWER occasionally, PLEASE!!!
Cheers!

IMAC, you don't wear a uniform when you jump in a hot tub.
