standby privilages for 703 carrier crews

Post by 60N »

I'm wondering if someone at WJ can clarify some information for me. Can flight crews in CAR 703 operations with a scheduled service apply for standby passes on WJ? If so how would they go about applying for such a privilage. Thanks.

I wouldn't apply for stand by seat at WestJet, their flights are full very often... that would become frustrating.

As for your question, 60N, I do know that a 703 can get the privilege, but I can't tell you how it works.

It looks like this picture was for me... Thanks ! Thats very nice of you ! :D

I heard Perimeter used to have passes with WestJet and now they don't because people complained when they were refused because the flight was full. Thats why I said that. But it was probably between YYZ - YWG which is usually busy. But I don't work there, so I can't confirmed it is a 100 % sure.

no problem... yeah I was not complaining about WJ, I was just saying it is not worth to have standby pass because of high rate of occupancy.

That is probably news to the tons of stand-bys who routinely fly all over the place on WS.

You gotta admit it's harder to fly now than it was a year ago.
