Still better than sitting in a cubicle from 9 to 5. Sit in a dirty airplane with dirty passengers from 8am to 10pm.

Wow, that gives the reality of the job, there are some things i never tought will be the way they are. Reading all this, a question comes to my mind, why, why are you doing this job if most of it all is pain, long hours, little money, badly treated ?

Those of you who are pilots, tell me why are you flying, what made you sign the contract ? what made you join the world of aviation ?

its a disease, a horrible disease, my grandfather took me flying at age 5 in a king air and i got to sit up front, i've never looked back since, oh it hasn't come out as i planned for sure, but as someone said it still beats 9-5 in a cubicle i've done it. It was never really about the glamor it was always just about flying, i love it, nothing else like it. its a skill that still impresses everyone i know.

Nice Vids, i am starting to see the positive side of flying, please share some of your positive experience of being a pilot......does your job gets repetitive after a while ?

We can argue that life itself is repetitive...wake up, coffee, car, work, car, wife, sleep, repeat endlessly

It depends on your mindset, if you're inclined to see things as repetitive, every job will be repetitive for you. People with a more positive outlook tend to see new stuff every day!

But, after all, flying is a job, and should be regarded as such, not as pure entertainment.

It doesn't matter how boring sometimes it can get and repetitive either...we would all rather repeat the same thing daily than not at all! I fly lines daily 5-8 hours a day and yes the day gets boring but I would have never visited the places I have on my own dime...but now I would so recommend these sites to anyone looking for a hide away! I was just recently in Michigan and it's beautiful along the north west shore lines! All the Great Lakes are so beautiful and a must see...US or Canada!
